I hadn't seen this family since their youngest was a tiny baby, but it certainly didn't seem that long to me;  I was floored when I laid eyes on him last week -- with all that beautiful curly HAIR...

Anyway, they're (clearly) fun people to work with, and I SO appreciate them driving all the way up from the Rochester area to see me. Since he owns a restaurant (and is BUSY) we had a hard time scheduling, even several months ago when we put a date on the calendar.  The skies were threatening to rain all day, but luckily for all of us it turned into a gorgeous evening.  It's been a wet fall with more rain cancellations than I like to think about, but I will thank the rain for giving me longer lasting and more beautiful fall colors later.
