tatum { eight months } saint paul baby + family photography

Tatum's family just moved into a new house a couple short months ago, and for this session his mom wanted me to come out and do some outdoor pics on their property and also at a park just up the road.

This was his eight month appointment, (which I always say is my favorite baby age) but MY GOSH he was so happy and patient at his four month session I hardly expected this one could be even better!

But it pretty much was.

Side note for history buffs: this land we were on in North Oaks was once owned by the Hill family (of the James J. Hill/railroad fame.)  I'm a lover of all kinds of history and already knew his family spent a lot of time relaxing in the area; but it was really cool to be walk inside the gates and have Tatum's mom explain to me that we were on their land--and in fact, the first resting place of James J. Hill, himself, before his body was later moved to a plot by his wife.
