I met this family about three years ago when their first son, Jack was born.  It was actually one of the first times I had gone out to a client's home to do a lifestyle newborn session, and since then it's really become one of my favorite styles of shooting.

(I just photographed another lifestyle session at a client's home yesterday, and I plan to check those out on the big screen later today.  It's a really great option for families with very young siblings. Bringing them to the studio and expecting them to sit through a 3 hour posed newborn session usually goes over like a lead balloon, unfortunately.) 

It was really great to see this family again, and make use of the really beautiful light their home provides.  Three year old Jack didn't remember me; not that I expected him to. 

I think the dog did!
