posed studio newborn session { tristan }

I know and love Tristan's parents, and his mom is horse owner, rider, lover, etc... I am already picturing Tristan on a horse in twenty-years... His wavy locks blowing in the breeze... kind of like Brad Pitt's "Tristan" in Legends of the Fall.  It's not so much of a stretch.  There are good genes here.

Jason and Lindsay are a super wonderful couple from across the street in my old neighborhood.  I photographed their wedding five years ago, and not long after we moved away, they moved away, too; Now they are living on a property with Lindsay's horses.  I was so happy to see over social media that they had a baby; (I just feel better knowing people like this are raising kids) and SO elated that I was able to cross paths with them again when they called me to do their newborn shoot! 

Jason is one of the tallest guys I know;  I think he rounds out at about 6'7".  By now I've been around enough newborns to know better, but I WAS actually assuming that Tristan was already going to huge at just a few days old!  Nope.  He was a pretty average sized baby, but already as attractive as his mom and dad.  Tristan's got plenty of years to reach those heights, and I don't doubt he will!
