burnsville newborn photographer { rory }

Another smooth newborn shoot!  Well they say good things come in 3's.

Rory is the 4th son of a friend named Courtney that I met through my sister--YES--he is the FOURTH son. I photographed another of her baby's newborn sessions way back when my studio was still in my home basement, and I photographed her LAST baby's newborn session in my current studio space about three years ago. I have to admit, I assumed that was going to be my last newborn session with her; but I think at the time she did, too!

In any event, I was so happy when she called me to tell me she was expecting again.  Now Courtney is doing photography herself, and it's always an honor when another photographer calls upon you for photos. 

Courtney brought a lot of cute things with her to the session; including a customized blanket with Rory's name on it.  Also, the same owl hat her son Liam wore at his newborn session.
