Mini Sessions:  March 6th

Since my calendar is already starting to fill up for spring, I decided to schedule my next mini sessions in the beginning of March.  I know that if I don’t get something on the calendar early, March will turn to April, and once April hits, summer seems to be right around the corner!    I will keep you posted on further updates, but for now what I know for sure is that I’ll be using a white backdrop, and we’ll be welcoming in spring!  (a little early for MN, but we’re all pretty eager for it by that time of year!)

The important thing for now is that, with the session, you get 15 edited digital images on disk (with a signed release) along with prints of each one for $200.  This is an offer that would normally be valued at $350, so it goes without saying that this is a killer deal!    I plan to start at 10:00AM, so if you are interested, contact me right away. I have already booked two slots with a third pending through my facebook page, so the sooner the better!

July Mini Sessions

I thought since I haven’t blogged much lately I would post the MOTHER LOAD of images from the mini sessions last weekend.  These are just a fraction of my favorites!  Once again I lucked out with happy kids that day, which is really, really nice when you’re limited to a half an hour…

Saturday was a hot and humid day, and it started raining about 5 minutes into the last session. Luckily it was just a light sprinkle, and no one really minded all that much.  I couldn’t believe how fast the time went!

IF you know anyone who might be interested, I did have a cancellation for the August 21st mini session. It includes a half hour of coverage, ownership/printing rights to 20 digital images, and a 4×6 printed proof of every image.   It’s a great deal, folks–and to be quite honest I’m not sure I’ll be offering quite so much for so little next year!

Spring/Summer Mini Sessions

So far I’ve had a big response to the mini session notice I put out there last week!  I thought I’d better get some time slots up so people can start booking!  As I said, these times are later in the day in the hopes of fabulous light, and I suppose we just keep our fingers crossed for good weather.  I will not cancel the dates unless it’s really raining all day.

Spring/Summer Mini Sessions – 2010

Looking out my window right now, I’d be very surprised if we actually did get anymore snow this year!  I think I cross my fingers every year in March after all of the snow disappears and we start to have these balmy spring-like days.  Usually, that doesn’t work; but really, this year, I think we might get lucky!  I’m all fired up to start shooting outside, but first the dirt needs to be washed away!!

In all of my excitement, I’ve decided to plan some mini sessions this spring and summer.   The sessions will cost $200, and will  include 1/2 hour of photographic coverage and also 20 digitally edited and enhanced images on disk along with printed proofs.  I have some ideas about where a few of them will take place, but I want to mix it up!  I was thinking an urban location, a garden location, a farm/field location, and a park location.

The dates I have marked off on my calendar are as follows:

April 24th -  urban/riverside location

June 26th - park/pond with bridges location

July 24th – garden location

August 21. – farm/field  location

I’ll post specific times within the next week or so.  More than like they will take place in the later afternoon and into the early evening with the lighting will be more ideal.  If you think you might be interested in taking part in one of these dates, please let me know!  I would really like to get a feel for what locations people are interested in, and also how long I should plan on “planting” myself at these spots each day!
